PaperIQ is pleased to announce a comprehensive partnership with specialist Anoto Enabling partner Covelus. The partnership allows PaperIQ to offer its customers the broadest possible mobile device support across Java, Symbian and Windows Mobile platforms, in addition to its own award-winning BlackBerry solution. The agreement allows PaperIQ to host a dedicated Covelus Configuration Server, tightly integrated with PaperIQ’s Digital Pen & Paper platform, allowing mobile devices to be quickly and easily provisioned by customers using PaperIQ’s existing pen management tools. “Despite our in-depth knowledge of the BlackBerry platform, we want to offer our customers maximum choice and flexibility when deploying a mobility solution. We’ve therefore chosen a dedicated enabling partner for this purpose to ensure that our customers have access to the widest possible mobile device coverage.”, comments James Shannon, PaperIQ’s Technical Director"; “The combination of the Covelus team’s experience in developing a flexible and feature-rich digital pen routing architecture with the ability for us to transparently integrate all provisioning and administration functions with our server platform, offers our customers a very simple, flexible and powerful digital pen infrastructure.” Commenting on the agreement, Dave Bell, Covelus CEO said “PaperIQ are an advanced Anoto service provider, and also winners of the 2006 Digital Pen & Paper award, so we are, of course, very happy to welcome them as a Covelus customer. The fact that they already have their own BlackBerry router, clearly shows that any Anoto partner can use Covelus Router for all - or just part - of their Anoto Component requirements thus creating maximum flexibility as an off-the-shelf solution”. |
